Cinnamon Roll Stovetop Oatmeal
Makes 2 servings
- 1 ¾ cup milk
- 2 tbsps. brown sugar
- 1 ½ tsps. Tasty Shakes™ Vanilla Bean Oatmeal Mix-Ins
- 1 tbsps. sugar
- ¼ tsps. salt
- 1 ½ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 tbsps. butter melted
- 3 tbsps. packed light brown sugar
- 1 ½ tsps. Tasty Shakes™ Cinnamon & Spice Oatmeal Mix-Ins
- 1 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1 tbsps. milk
- 1/8 tsps. vanilla extract
- 5 tbsps. confectioners' sugar
In a large saucepan add milk, sugars, Tasty Shakes™ Vanilla Bean Oatmeal Mix-Ins, and salt and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir in oats, return to a boil and continue to cook, stirring occasionally for 3-5 minutes until oatmeal begins to thicken. Cover and remove from heat. Let sit for about 3 minutes.
In a small bowl mix butter, brown sugar and Tasty Shakes™ Cinnamon & Spice Oatmeal Mix-Ins until combined. Microwave cream cheese in a small bowl for about 10 seconds until just melted.
Stir in confectioners' sugar until combined. Stir in milk and vanilla until creamy. Add in a little more confectioners' sugar if glaze is too thin or a little more milk if glaze is too thick until desired consistency.
Place desired amount of oatmeal in serving bowl. Drizzle with extra Tasty Shakes™ Cinnamon & Spice Oatmeal Mix-Ins Tasty Shakes™ Vanilla Bean Oatmeal Mix-Ins if desired. Add extra cream cheese glaze if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
