Cinnamon Roll Stovetop Oatmeal

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

     Oats
  • 1 ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tbsps. brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsps. Tasty Shakes™ Vanilla Bean Oatmeal Mix-Ins
  • 1 tbsps. sugar
  • ¼ tsps. salt
  • 1 ½ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
     Topping
  • 2 tbsps. butter melted
  • 3 tbsps. packed light brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsps. Tasty Shakes™ Cinnamon & Spice Oatmeal Mix-Ins
     Glaze
  • 1 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsps. milk
  • 1/8 tsps. vanilla extract
  • 5 tbsps. confectioners' sugar

    Instructions

      1. In a large saucepan add milk, sugars, Tasty Shakes™ Vanilla Bean Oatmeal Mix-Ins, and salt and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir in oats, return to a boil and continue to cook, stirring occasionally for 3-5 minutes until oatmeal begins to thicken. Cover and remove from heat. Let sit for about 3 minutes.

      2. In a small bowl mix butter, brown sugar and Tasty Shakes™ Cinnamon & Spice Oatmeal Mix-Ins until combined. Microwave cream cheese in a small bowl for about 10 seconds until just melted.

      3. Stir in confectioners' sugar until combined. Stir in milk and vanilla until creamy. Add in a little more confectioners' sugar if glaze is too thin or a little more milk if glaze is too thick until desired consistency.

      4. Place desired amount of oatmeal in serving bowl. Drizzle with extra Tasty Shakes™ Cinnamon & Spice Oatmeal Mix-Ins Tasty Shakes™ Vanilla Bean Oatmeal Mix-Ins if desired. Add extra cream cheese glaze if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
